Carolina Suzuki Strings (Arts+), Queen City Suzuki Violin and other Charlotte area instructors are collaborating to bring you the Charlotte Metrolina Suzuki Workshop in January 2025! We have amazing guest clinicians lined up and a full day of really fun and exciting sessions!
Workshop Highlights:
Guest Clinicians: Learn from top-notch Guest Clinicians including Terry Durbin, and Lisa Liske!
Improvisation (Creativity Ability Development): Unlock your musical imagination and discover the joy of improvisation.
Suzuki Repertoire Classes: Dive into some of our favorite Suzuki pieces, perfecting technique while making beautiful music alongside fellow young musicians in a fun and motivating class with our Guest Clinicians.
Strings Pop Jam (Late Book 2+): Jam out by learning a current pop song hitting the charts.
STOMP Class (Twinklers – early Book 1): Rhythm and movement activities designed for our beginning learners.
Strings in Motion: Healthy Movement for Optimal Performance: A class that will get you moving in a healthy way!
Suzuki Parent Conversations: Parents/caregivers can connect, share experiences, and discuss the Suzuki philosophy alongside other parents/caregivers with students at the same level.
Final Play-In Concert: Show off your hard work with a celebratory group performance!
Parents/caregivers of students aged 12 and under are expected to attend classes with their students. We understand that this can be challenging with your busy schedules - you can team up with another family that is attending if needed. Students aged 13+ can attend on their own. Lunch is on your own.
